Lesbian feminists have taken over education. And look at the results – society is more violent since changing the laws. Look at Singapore – no violence in schools and high achievement. When something works, that’s what you do…..duhhhhhh. Fricken communists.

@Wolverhampton1 but reality is usually uglier. When are you going to see young, pretty teachers often? When I was in school some teachers were pretty. But no corporal punishment was allowed.
I was like angel tho. If coporal punishment was allowed, maybe I would act out in certian classes.

@basilization1 I agree. It’s also perverted to want to smack children, especially on their bottoms. Keep it in the bedroom between consenting adults. I think too many parents and teachers were getting a thrill out of it.

Spanking is a parental issue not a state issue and should only be used for serious infractions and not without prior warning ..The threat of being spanked is the worst part ..Some see this as a good thing i see it as wrong .. I think children who are old enough to know basic right from wrong should be told if you do item A..deliberately
then it will result in a spanking ..but never fear that out of the blue if i screw up dad is going to spank me …

I think that corporal punishment does most psychological damage when kids are young, then you absolutely MUSN’T do it. It can harm a child for his/hers life!!
Tho I have to add, that I believe there is a certain age where it doesn’t harm the soul of a child so much any more. I am 15 now, and tho it might hurt and I would definitely don’t like it, I don’t think that I’d get problems if they smacked me now. Tho there has to be a proper reason, and I would find it extremely humiliating. So I say no

People who say you should smack children are conspiring to assault children

YEAH SURE, stupid btn, WHAT ABOUT PHYSIOLOGICAL punishment, sometimes it can be far worse. ‘specially when there is no evidence for it happening (like “whacking” where you can see bruises).

I was born at Dallas, TX. when I was in elementary we had school corporal punishment.
The Principal hits us with a paddle many times.
This has effected me in many ways. I never told my parents until I was 17yrs old, and I am 27 now.
Please ban corporal punishment in school.

if kids don’t feel the pinch of pain for doing something wrong, you will continue to think its ok to do wrong even when they reach adult. I love my singapore way of discipline, In this world of right and wrong, sometimes you need force to shape path you want to go.

@TheWorldpics People have decided to justify their spanking by using this verb, and by assuming the rod is the object to use with force. But God doesn’t even allow cruelty against his animals, so why would the shepherd rod his sheep? The rod was meant as a tool to guide the sheep where the shepherd wanted them to go. See how I turned this into a non-violent punishment. Guide your children, don’t beat them into submission.

@TheWorldpics If you have to hit your child to discipline them, you’re an incompetant bully who doesn’t have the respect of your kids, only their fear.
When you’re old and frail, it’ll be payback time and you’ll reap what you’ve sown. Enjoy!

The only thing the cane is good for is firewood. Teach children through other devices, but not by violence.

I don’t know if caning is necessary or desirable for discipline, but imho loud cracks, louder “ow”s and “ouch”es and raised red welts are a hell of alotta fun!
