- Mftr. has changed sizing as above primarily because many people still think “size” should match “age” as when univ. sizing began years ago, yet children are “grown bigger” today – AND costumes tend a bit small. So purchase by Size 1st if you know it, then age if not (and child within “age avg. size”). And always purchase “bigger” when in doubt.
