I’m from Singapore and I have witnessed canings before so in my opinion this is way exaggerated. It’s not as harsh as it seems in real life. And by the way, this is a scene from the movie called “I not stupid 2″. You can’t really trust things from movies and although caning is a punishment in Singapore schools, it is rarely used and only when the student was caught violating the school rules.

I dont find it so hard! When I was 15 my master hung me with a rope until i could no breath any more. When I was 23 my master break poles in my stomach. Its all about control. there eas probably a difference, i was training. But for me, physical punishment is not hard.
