how would you discipline a child? what do you think of spanking? grounding?
The best way to discipline a child is consistency. Set boundries and be clear about them, have consistent punishment, and don't make threats unless you follow through. This will work the vast majority of the time regardless of your discipline technique – you don't have to spank.

i dont have a child but in my opinion i think u shud give them "the eye"….u know?? that "oh, i'm so mad at you that if u do this again i'll strangle you" and give them the silent treatment!!!! but if they did sumthing simple then a boring conversation of doing things right will probably teach em a lesson.

i'm 15 and my mom spanks me whenever i do something bad. it usually keeps me in line so i only have to get one about 1-2 times a week. if i'm really bad my dad will spank me as well. it doesn't make me violent despite what most of society thinks.
