I am a first year teacher in a tough school district. I would like to know it there are any good class management tips that any of you teachers may have. I will be teaching 7th grade English.

if someone misbehaves DO NOT HESITATE TO SEND THEM TO THE PRINCIPAL, please some of the kids at my school are total jerks and the teachers do nothing, but they always behave when the it is a teacher that sends kids to the principal right away
