You must read Harry Wong’s book, “The First Days of School.” It will show you that if you are well-organized, fair to the kids, and keep them doing all the work instead of you doing all the work, class will run more smoothly, you will be happier, and they will learn more and respect you more.

Wisdom for teachers book, most definitely! I’m not sure if the link will work for you but they are available at http://www.frog.com. Look for “Wisdom for Teachers.” What you may be interested in is: “12 Steps to Effective Discpline” and also “How to Deal With Aggression, Defiance and Negativism in the Classroom.” The books are written by Dr. Clint Van Nagel.
