I work for Americorps I’m trying to thing of different types of specialized trainings people might need as educational volunteers. Most of these volunteers work for after school programs or work as teachers assistants in charter schools. Here is a list of trainings I have so far:
CPR/First Aid
Grant Writing Seminar
Financial Strategies
PR and Volunteer Management
Tutoring Tips
Classroom Management
Learning Disabilities
Educational Software
Staying Healthy on a Budget
Networking
SCIP Training
Life After AmeriCorps-Resume Writing/Interviewing Skills
Conflict Resolution
Organizational Skill:
-Putting together major projects
-Organizing event/field trips
Behavior Modification (Child Psychology)
I should note that all Americorps workers receive less than minimum wage. Most people in Americorps don’t know what they want their career to be and need help in developing professional skills. Our agency specialized in education.
I am not going to use all of these as I am only setting up one training a month. I am just trying to figure out what are the most beneficial and if there is anything I’m leaving out that I should make into a training. Your answers are appreciated

11. Do you think that the NCLB movement is relative to every state, considering the success rate in states such as Pennsylvania and New York, and clear lack of success in states such as California and Arizona?
12. How has your education as a child affected your teaching philosophy? How do you implement your philosophy in the classroom?
13. Do you think that by demanding teachers to have higher qualifications, this could lead to teachers being looked upon as better role models in society? Considering the fact that doctors are considered in high standing within the community, what do you think needs to be done in order for teachers to be as represented?
I am interviewing 5 teachers in person too. This is my back up plan if any of my interviews fall through.

A district where students, staff, administration, and the community members are working together is a place where I want to be. I enjoy taking on leadership responsibilities and am also a team player. I collaborate with others on projects and ideas and am very open to constructive criticism to better my teaching abilities.
I strive for betterment by seeking opportunities for professional growth which is comprehensively offered by this district. As a recent college
graduate I am quite honestly only a seed to becoming a great teacher. I believe that with what *** has to offer, combined with my passion, knowledge, and desire to grow, I can add to your list of amazing teachers in an extremely short time.
I have just told you some reasons why I may be an ideal candidate for your district; please call me today so we can schedule an interview to discuss further what I can bring to ***.
The same as a classroom management plan?
I am asking because I have to write an original plan to help students be more responsible and was just wondering if the outline is the same as that of a classroom management plan or if its different. If it is different is there any websites where I can get information so I can make one?
Thank You
