<p>I`m a 4th grade teacher and we are experiencing some behavioral problems with our students (walking out of line in the hallways, talking to much in class, even some being disrespectful to teachers). One of my teacher mates wants to start detention for the kids 23 days from 3:00 to 5:00 as a punishment but I think that is awful, too much for the kids and ourselves. </p>
<p>Is there any class management strategies you can suggests?</p>
